It is Free so give the tool a test ride if you don’t use any tool now it is great Get it here : In may case I run it to 100 RDP sessions got again a nice error and the RDCman went down. No problems with NLA on windows 2008 R2Ī cool thing is that you can connect to group and Logoff to group 😉 SO if you don’t want to pay for a RDP management tool this RDCman is the tool you want easy to use and to manage. Overall It is like visionapp but RDCman is only at the beginning no add in for external applications or the server in folder thing like above.Īnd I must say the TAB view in the top off the screen is nice now you have to scroll down to click your server, but If you have lots of open RDP sessions the most active sessions are on top if you use the sorting Now I can’t add servers to the DC group I can only add servers to the RODC Group. So now I have imported my servers I want to create groups “domain name” Role or add subgroup in this case a # the bad thing you can only add one wildcard. Now that we have a Group we can import Servers or add a server.īut the first time you may want to add a bulk with a text file or with a wildcard. I use visionapp all the time and I like this very much.įirst we must make a group that holds the Servers So now that the installation is completed we are ready to go.

I love first install errors It is my Pc that is the problem not the application I hope. It is similar to the built-in MMC Remote Desktops snap-in, but more flexible. It is useful for managing server labs where you need regular access to each machine such as automated checkin systems and data centers. RDCMan manages multiple remote desktop connections. Ran SFC/ SCANNOW - which did find issues but I ran it 4 times each with a reboot and it found all the same "errors" so I am thinking false positives.RDCMan manages multiple remote desktop connections I have used RDCMan for about 5years with no issue. Tools-> General -> Default group settings -> logon credentials, where I put in a different username/password than what I am logged on to the pc as.īack in the main window on one of my groups I then disabled the "inherit from parent" option under Logon Credentials and changed it to a different account name/password. The only setting changes I made was to Tools-> Options -> Tree -> sort order And to the logon credentials. Things seemed to be ok until I added some groups with servers into them. I did NOT open the rdg file I had saved with my old server settings, instead, I created a new file. Ran the new 2.83 exe, which didn't do an install, it just ran.

I did a full uninstall of the older version, deleted the folders from my user profile AppData\Local\Microsoft\Remote Desktop Connection Manager\ and from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Remote Desktop Connection Manager\ I had an older version 2.7(?) and upgraded to 2.83 with no luck. The second I close the program, it works again. With RDCMan running, I am unable to copy/paste on my local machine, even from within the same program i.e notepad -> notepad. This happens with both the keyboard and right-click where I can click on copy but paste is grey-out. If I close the program, I can copy and paste. I have been having issues for a week now where when I run RDCMan I am unable to copy and paste.
